About Us
Founded in 2014 by Matthew Carroll, Unified Communications Services has grown from his garage in Manifold Heights servicing a small number of clients, to now taking up residence in our office at 4 Dowsett Street in South Geelong, from which UC Services supports a large customer base with varying needs and systems installations, from Phone Systems to Fibre cabling and everything in between.
In 2023 Matthew and his colleague Ash Taylor identified a need for contractors that were able to not just manage, but deliver all aspects of an Electrical project and so Unified Contracting Services was formed.
Now being able to offer Electrical installations alongside Communications installs, Unified Contracting Services is your go to installer for all your Power, Lighting, Data, AV and Phone System needs.
Our Team
Matthew Carroll, Managing Director
Matt has 25+ Years of industry experience, starting out with his Family’s business of Geelong Telephone Company in 1999. In 2014 after the sale of GTC, Matt formed Unified Communications Services as alternative option to clients in the Geelong Communications Industry.
After reuniting with Ash in Geelong, the pair launched Unified Contracting Services in 2023 to offer Electrical Services alongside Communications.
Matt handles the day to day operations of the business.
Ashley Taylor, Director
Ash comes from a Communications Technical background having worked with Matt at GTC. After GTC, Ash pursued a career as an Electrician but after 10+ years finally got sick of travelling up the highway to Melbourne working for large electrical companies.
Working back in the Geelong area, Matt and Ash joined forces and created Unified Contracting Services.
Day to Day Ash is an Electrical whiz with a great Technical Background.
Jess Reekie, General Manager
Jess has 10+ years of experience managing projects of all sizes within the Construction Industry from Geelong to Melbourne and everywhere in between.
Working with Matt to deliver project works and the running of business operations, Jess also oversees the estimating of new projects.
